Build-Your-Own-Adventure! BASE CAMP

Our popular Base Camp Adventure is a combination of several activities, custom-suited to your needs that originate from our base of operations. Just 30 minutes from Park City you can:
-Take a Private historic train ride up Provo Canyon to the Rafting launch area.
-Try Fly-Fishing in a blue-ribbon trout stream
-Hike to the spectacular Bridal Veil or Stewart waterfalls
-Take an adrenaline filled zip-line cruise in the soaring canyons above the river
-Enjoy a horseback ride in foothills of Soldier Hollow.

What to bring

Sunglasses, and a camera or video-camera with a case, comfortable clothes that can get wet. Swimsuits or quick drying shorts and T-shirts. Hats with fasteners, long pants and long-sleeve shirts if you need protection from the sun. You'll want shoes that can get wet- Chaco and Teva-type sandals or flip-flops that fasten securely on your feet are the best option. There are very few biting insects on the river and repellent usually isn't necessary.

Park City Rafting and Outdoor Fun

Open May thru October 2013. Park City is just minutes away from most of our Adventures. Take a rafting trip or combo adventure in one of Utah's "postcard" canyons - Provo Canyon is home to soaring canyons and Robert Redfords 'Sundance Resort' while the Weber Canyon has rich locomotive history and interesting geological formations. Both Rivers are conveniently located 30 minutes from Park City.
We offer daily mild whitewater trips down the Provo River (class I and II rapids) and Weber River (Class II and III rapids) Both rivers appeal to people of all ages.

The Provo River trip (6 miles - see video above) is home to many bird species and river wildlife, with exciting trips under historic train bridges, and just enough whitewater to splash but not soak you. Most trips last 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on water level).

The Weber River is home to several historic sites and the famous Devil's Slide geological formation. With a steady stream of class (II and III - see video below) rapids, this 12 mile stretch provides plenty of excitement for everyone. Most trips are 3-4 hours - based on water flow. Expect to get wet (or soaked) on the Weber from May to July.

We strive to keep group sizes small, generally 4-7 people in a raft. Our rafting excursions include: state-of-the-art rafts, life vests, friendly guides and complimentary soft drinks and a box lunch (on combo or 4-hour tours. Our guides are CPR and first-aid certified and work to help everyone have an enjoyable trip. Your welcome to paddle along or just sit back and relax. Please indicate when you check-in that you want a "paddle" boat.
